Practice Valuations

Many firms are considering their future, especially in light of the changing market conditions for the sale of law firms and with true value and consideration changing hands.

Many people assume there is no value in Law firms and that goodwill does not exist. That isn’t true for about half of the UK’s firms; but how do you know which category you are in until you ask?

Who?

Any firm considering its disposal options and that wants to know what it might be worth.

What?

A report on the likely value of your firm based on the three most commonly used metrics: trade sale, asset sale and external sale.

Why?

To help you decide on the best value route for your firm.

When?

Timelines vary depending on your existing data. The creation of the report itself usually takes two weeks.

How Much?

A fixed fee of £2,500 for a basic valuation.

A more in-depth valuation report may be required if you need to defend the position with outside agencies (e.g. HMRC) or in the context of litigation and disputes. In which case see here.

Discounts are available for prompt payment and for those already enrolled in the outsourced FD service.
