I deliver compliance and transactional finance support to law firms to make them better, and I’ve been doing it for over ten years.

Based primarily in the North but with some national and international clients, my only area of focus is law firms.

Like any good Cashier, I start with reconciliations and bookkeeping. But is more than just balancing a balance sheet! I use my extensive knowledge of the sector to show you what good looks like and to take away the stress of compliance from you; so that you can focus on the day job.

I also assist in law firm M&A, law firm valuations (for partnership dispute, taxation or as an expert witness), law firm incorporation, tax structuring and the creation of law firm KPIs/bonus schemes/partnership remuneration strategy.

I can also do your accounts and tax returns while I’m there!

I have worked in-house as both a law firm and an insolvency cashier and as a reporting accountant in Armstrong Watson’s specialist Legal Sector team where I worked exclusively with legal clients and with hundreds of law firms. I was the lead auditor for over 50 different firms – from large to small, niche to the high street and from well-controlled to much more distressed.

I am a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and am working towards my Certified Accountant status. I also have an HE diploma in law.
