I specialise in delivering compliance and transactional finance support exclusively to law firms, helping them operate more efficiently and with greater confidence.

Tom and I have worked together for over six years, and our strong working relationship has been built on trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional results with a genuine passion for what we do.

Although based in the North, I work with clients across the UK and internationally. My focus is 100% on the legal sector.

Like any skilled cashier, I begin with reconciliations and bookkeeping, but my role extends far beyond simply balancing the books. I use my extensive knowledge to define best practices and remove the stress of compliance, so you can concentrate on running your firm.

I also assist Tom in law firm M&A, valuations (for partnership disputes, taxation, or as an expert witness), law firm incorporation, tax structuring and creating KPIs, bonus schemes, and partnership remuneration strategies.

I can also do your accounts and tax returns!

I’ve worked in-house as a law firm and insolvency cashier and as a reporting accountant in Armstrong Watson’s specialist Legal Sector team, where I worked exclusively with hundreds of law firms. I was the lead auditor for more than 50 practices – ranging from large to small, niche to high street practices and I’ve seen everything from well-controlled to distressed businesses.

I’m a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and am currently working toward Certified Accountant status. I also hold a Higher Education Diploma in Law.
